For this project, I initially submitted a concept that incorporated more fire and animal imagery, but leadership came back with a request for something more "minimal," with their only reference being a muscular man in silhouette, backlit by fire and standing on water, but "without the fire or water." There was discussion of hiring a model and finding a location, but I insisted on shooting with my marketing director in our small studio as a proof of concept, and this was the end product, which was accepted outright as the final deliverable.
