The reference for Meraki’s Summer Games announcement was vague and impractical: an AI-generated image of a figure backlit by fire and water — but they didn’t want the fire or water. Early talks included renting a larger studio, finding a model, and bringing in extra gear. Instead, I asked for a few hours and set up a simple one-light shoot in the office, using my manager as a stand-in. The proof of concept landed so well with leadership that it became the final product — and no one realized the ‘model’ was actually my manager
