Big Blue World was produced with a crew of only three people — one of them a trainee — and spanned several months and hundreds of hours of footage. What began as an ambitious local documentary about sea turtle rescue and rehabilitation nearly collapsed under the weight of limited resources and endless material. In the end, I carried it across the finish line at the 11th hour, shaping a narrative that highlights the rescue, rehab, and release process with emotional resonance and regional character.
